1. Date and Venue:
- यह session 13 से 14 May, 2024 तक New Delhi में हुआ।
2. Co-Chairpersons:
- Ms. Priya P. Nair, Economic Adviser, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
- Ms. Rudo. M. Faranisi, Chief Director, Economic Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe.
3. Delegation:
- Zimbabwe की तरफ से 15 से भी ज़्यादा delegates ने हिस्सा लिया, जिनकी leadership Embassy of Zimbabwe के Charge d'Affaires, Mr. Peter Hobwani ने की।
4. Atmosphere and Objectives:
- Meeting का माहौल बहुत ही cordial और forward-looking था।
- दोनों देशों ने cooperation को बढ़ाने, pending issues को solve करने, trade और investment को boost करने, और people-to-people contacts को बढ़ावा देने का enthusiasm दिखाया।
5. Bilateral Trade Review:
- दोनों countries ने माना कि दोनों के बीच vast trade potential है।
- Bilateral trade को enhance करने के लिए concerted efforts करने पर agreement हुआ।
6. Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs):
- Digital transformation solutions, tele-medicines, rough diamonds, fast payment systems, और traditional medicine जैसे sectors में MoUs पर explore किया गया।
7. Identified Areas of Focus for Cooperation:
- Pharmaceuticals, healthcare, machinery, vehicles, renewable energy, textiles, etc.
8. Collaboration Enhancement:
- दोनों तरफ के Investment Promotion Agencies और Chambers of Commerce के बीच closer collaboration करने पर सहमति हुई।
9. Conclusion:
- यह session India और Zimbabwe के बीच के friendly और special relations को दर्शाता है और future collaboration के लिए एक positive step है।
