1. Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MoSDE) ने इस program को 2015 में introduce किया था।
2. यह reskilling और upskilling options के साथ short-term training courses प्रदान करता है।
समय के साथ विकास (Developments over time)
PMKVY 1.0 (2015–16): इसके तहत लगभग 19.85 लाख लोगों को trained किया गया था।
PMKVY 2.0: इससे लगभग 1.10 करोड़ उम्मीदवारों (candidates) को लाभ हुआ।
PMKVY 3.0: COVID Warriors training जैसी targeted initiatives के माध्यम से 7.37 लाख लोगों तक पहुंचा गया।
PMKVY 4.0: 2025 तक, PMKVY 4.0 ने लगभग 25 लाख लोगों को trained किया है, जिसमें robotics, artificial intelligence, और Internet of Things जैसे cutting-edge fields पर जोर दिया गया है।
PM Vishwakarma Yojana: 2023 में ₹13,000 करोड़ के investment के साथ launch की गई, यह योजना traditional craftspeople को बढ़ावा देती है।
Skilling Ecosystem को बढ़ाना (Enhancing the Ecosystem of Skilling)
Recognizing Prior Learning (RPL): Unorganized sector के workers के experience को validate करने के लिए इसे introduce किया गया था।
Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH): Job placement, education, और skilling services को digitally integrate करने के लिए SIDH बनाया गया।
यह scheme NEP 2020, Make in India, और Digital India जैसे national missions के साथ align है।
यह Rural Self Employment and Training Institutes (RSETIs) जैसे institutions के माध्यम से entrepreneurship को encourage करता है।
